Graz

We went to Graz by train. This is the Slovenian countryside
At every train station they place this plaque of some guy that died during WW2 occupation.
Drawing of a fat woman
In Graz
Jigsaw
Some church
There was this cool blue bridge
The Mur river
Graffiti
Some decorated house
This is probably the town hall...
Statue of some guy
Cow with wings
In Austria, they allow indoor smoking

Before the sun came up, I took this picture of the statue of a woman and child. I didn't have much time, but I think I could take a better picture from another angle
Ljubljana in the morning
Clouds
Jesus the slug and the Bosnian army
I went to see the Postojna cave, which was the largest cave in ex-Yugoslavia. This is the entrance. There were lots of Germans, Italians, French, Hungarians and Polacks there, and a few Slovenians and Croats
Shadows at the first cave
Various rocks
This rock looks gooey
Ceiling filled with needle rocks
Looking towards the bridge
This one looks like a mushroom
This is the largest cave. If you shout, the echo lasts for 5 seconds
Back at Laško

Soča part II
|
|
At one part of the river, the ground was covered with this weird colored moss. It gave the whole place an alien look
A fort, perhaps from WW1?
Tree in the valley
Cows
Rocks at Volarje
A fisherman in the fog
Cat
The next morning, the whole valley was covered by the mist
Our tents as well
Soča in the morning
A slug
An old writing on a building at Čezsoča: "With Tito in battle. With Tito in freedom" The locals probably didn't mind leaving that there
A monument to WW2 victims
The Julian Alps
A waterfall
One last time: Soča
Canoo in the river
Back at Ljubljana, a girl was waiting for the train
It's deadly dangerous to cross the railways, accoding to this sign

Soča part I
|
|
This weekend we went for a trip going upstrean the river Soča / Isonzo. It's a beautiful turqoise color river near the Italian border.
We went with train to Jesenice, then went down towards Nova Gorica and stopped near Tolmin
Somebody's feet in the train
This electric outlet has the standard text of "Be careful, it's deadly dangeous" printed on it, while somebody wrote "Not true" on it
A shed
Some rocks in the river
Clouds
Beers
Flowers
A family at Soča
A bridge
View from above
The river
The water is around 5-10ºC, and outside it's around 25, so a mist forms above the river
We had to cross the river a few times
Which lead to red feet due to the cold
At a few places the river flows quite fast
