Image uploading has been "temporarily" disabled for two days now, so I'll just upload the images at some other palce, and link them to here. Later I'll move the pictures to here.
I was making dinner for myself. This is a regular fast-food ham with cheese. You put it in oil and wait for 15 minutes.
I also found two potatoes, so they'll be a great addition as french friest.
And it's ready!

Visit to my cousins

This weekend I've been to my cousins, cause my sister had her birthday. She lives in another city. On the way out there is this fertilizer factory. It's huge.
On its side is this huge poster of my favorite beer:
We're going toward Zrenjanin
This house here is a traditional salash. Generally there's one house like this sorrounded by fields, and you can't see anything else for miles.
We arrived. The road sign is in the following languages: Serbian, Serbian, Hungarian, Slovakian and Romanian.
In Zrenjanin the water is polluted, so every time we go we bring them water of our own.
Grandma's croissants
We've been to the bar we usually go. It is under ground. When the Tisza river flooded a month ago the floor of this bar was wet, and the water had to be carried out in buckets every day.
And btw. that is not snow that's falling, it's rain.

Last couple of days
|
|
Not much has happenned lately, as I was doing my regular job, and then after work I did my second job for some guy. There was this guy hanging on the second floor of the opposite building, fixing something.
Must be an interesting job...
Anyway, a few days ago I was typing a specification document for a project that was already finished, when suddenly the power went off, and I've lost two hours of work. OK, this has happenned before, but now I have to write the damn specification again, and it's so boring!! 
So I had it, and finally bought a UPS.
Here it is:
I think I should get a few minutes in case the power goes off...

Today was culture-day. I visited a few expositions, but generally they weren't very interesting.
OK, after work I've met with my girlfriend as we decided that we're going to some art exposition featuring pictures about nationalism and xenophobia. But there were two hours until then, so we went for a walk. On the way, we've seen some guy that we know who has a girlfriend, being with another girl.
Maybe we can blackmail him, and extract cash for me to buy a video camera 
On the main square there was some stupid kid show "World harmony" or something. Some 8-year old was giving a speech on abolishing social and class differences. I'm guessing he didn't know what he was saying...
The sun is shining

OK, I was hungry so we went for a pizza. The menus were kind-of in Italian.

It was getting cold as the sun was settling down, so we went again for a walk. We found this Andy Warhol exhibition so we went in to check it out. I wasn't allowed to take any pictures 
Anyway, there were a few interesting paintings...
You can see the moon on this picture.
On the other side of the sky it isn't so dark yet. This is a statue of some soldier at the top of a building.
Finally, it was 8 o'clock, and the nationalism exposition started. Well, I was expecting more. There were not many people (20-30), and the pictures kind of sucked. This one was a bit interesting...
I liked this turtle the most. The picture looks sharp like this, but you can then see the flash light.
And without the flash light, the image is fuzzy. I also had to do some image correction on it with Photoshop, cause it was originally too dark.

I've just found out I only get 25 MB of storage on Fotopages. That's not very good...
Anyway, this is the post office. I went today to pay for my monthly ADSL.
On the other side of the street there's a creepy woman
Later I went to take my scholarship. Here's a house from the way there.
Finally, I bought a new hard disk. 250 GB. On my old one I was running out of space.

OK, now that I have the money, I need to go to a host provider to buy myself a web address. In the meantime a took a picture of this old man:
I also took a picture of my old bank. I left them cause once they made me stand in line for half an hour, and when I finally arrived I was told that I'm standing in the wrong line, and instead I should move to the next window. And the woman that worked there just took a break there. 
Now with Raiffeisan bank I never needed to wait for longer than 10 minutes.

OK, now I was searching for the street where this hosting company is for half an hour and still couldn't find it. Here's a happy sign:
But in the end I couldn't find them. So I didn't buy a web site. So I have to start my photo blog here... hope my pictures won't get deleted...
