End of school
|
|
It's not that I know the law that much, but as far as I know, hanging advertisements on street signs and semaphores is illegal
It's the end of school for these elementary school kids.
Trumpeteers
It's over! No more math lessons!
Watch the girl in the back with the black&white stripes blouse
Proposal
Indecent offer
Rejection
Lord of the dance!
It's HIM!
Not everyone is enjoying the party, of course

After a frustrating afternoon of searching for employers that are willing to hire people from outside the EU, I went for a walk.

Various photos from last week
|
|
Here are a few photos from this year's Moto fest. This time I've managed to make some better photos than last year, but considering I was carrying my old Canon with me, they are not really top quality.

Monument
|
|
There is a WW2 monument next to the Tisza river. I have no idea what happened, probably some mass murdering or something.
And as much as it is weird, someone built a golf club around it

My dad bought me a 0.5x wide conversion lens, which enables me to take photos at focal length of 14mm (almost-fisheye). It's not really top quality so the edges of the picture are distorted, but it's good enough for an amateur like me
This is what I have in my camera equipment now: the Fuji S6500fd camera, UV filter, circular polarizing filter, wide conversion lens, tripod and a simple reflector that is used at front doors to turn on when someone approaches. When I point it towards the window, I can create diffused light in the room.
And of course, I still have my good ol' Canon A430 which I used to take this shot. It still makes shit photos.
Anyway, after buying the lens I went out to test it a bit, and I also took some photos without it...

This is the Catholic temple in the city center. Actually I was just testing the polarizing filter I've just bough
It's been really hot lately, which means girls can put on their summer clothes
I don't know what he's looking at, but I wouldn't be sitting out there in the sunlight if I was him
I'm actually surprised so many people are out in the streets at this heat
Don't jump into the water, who knows how many people washed their feet in there!
Aliens!
Oh no, they've shot down this poor guy and are trying to steal his shoes!

DSS
|
|
OK the following two photos are a bit blurry and I couldn't exactly get closer because of the crowd. Anyway, I think the moment's worth remembering.
Yesterday the ultra-nationalists took control of the parliament with the help of the conservative DSS party. They have already made threats that they will bring in emergency rule and suspend certain freedoms.
Both parties are against extraditing war criminals, against cooperation with the international community, and they want to join the EU "under their terms", which means, if you use your brain a little, that they are against joining the EU.
On the same day, they have put up a large EU flag and handed out EU balloons in the city center. In this photo the guy in orange is trying to give the balloon to the child. The kid doesn't want to take it, so he persuades him by saying "take it, it's good" etc.
Success! The mother must be very proud!
The end
There will be a kind-of punk concert in the center. Punkers have already started gathering
Punk is not dead
With the large crowd gathered because of the concert, some people have put up their stands propagating their political cause. This one says that the government should do restitution, whatever that means. I think it means returning the factories and lands that were nationalized after WW2.
