It's a shame not to go to the mountains when it's so beautiful like this...

Sevilla

Ryanair
Clouds
Huge tree

We visited Sevilla in one day. The time was too short to see anything, but I really liked the city.

At the airport.

Clouds

They have a park with this huge tree. It has very interesting roots.

It was raining non-stop during the whole day. Luckily a nice old man gave us his umbrella, but still, my shoes were soaking wet.

Orange trees everywhere!

Some church which looks like an ex-mosque

The Guadalquivir river

This is the famous tower in Sevilla

Marseille

Port
Church
EU flag

When it's November in Marseille, outside is around 25°C. The city pleasantly surprised me. Everyone said it will be ugly, crowded, that the crime rate is high and that it's full of Arabs (like that was a bad thing). It actually turned out to be a much better place than the sterile Aix-en-Provence or the charming but boring villages of Provence.

There was a huge church next to the port

I've never seen an EU flag inside a church before

Looks like Colbert is a French name after all!

Typical French colonial style building. You can see this stuff all over Tunisia, Algiers...

Kid playing with a fountain

We walked uphill to see the sunset from a beautiful church. This is the look down

The church and the Moon

Sunset. There's the Chateau d'If where the fictional Monte Christo was imprisoned

Eger

Castle ruins
Moon
Crosses
View all 6 photos...
We got invited to a lake near the city of Eger. The castle of Eger once withstood the siege of 100.000 Turks, but now it's just mostly ruins

They have a "School for knights". Their logo is not very politically correct

Some crosses or swords on top of a hill

Roofs of Eger

Statue of Gárdonyi Géza

I guess these are the Turks

Salzburg

Street
Bio food
Bio-paprika
View all 9 photos...
We went to the nearby town of Salzburg for the weekend. It was raining all the time.

They have a large Bio-store where they only sell bio-food. Looks like the Austrians are obsessed with this kind of food...

Bio-paprika! How can it be non-bio?

In the center, near the church, they had this cool statue of a hermit

The church

It looked nice inside. Of course, after looking at similar stuff in the Vatican I'm just not interested in these things anymore...

Ponies covered with Gore-tex blankets

A fountain featuring a horse

After seeing all there is to see, we went to a mall to eat, and then paid a visit to IKEA

It's a shame that there's no IKEA in Slovenia...

It's not a good idea to leave your bycicle in the hallway
